Tara Devi Harakh Chand Kankaria Jain College (THK Jain College), was established in 2006 as a self-financed institute under the affiliation of the University, founded by Shree Shwetambar Sthanakvasi Jain Sabha, a religious minority organisation known for its philanthropic activities in education and healthcare across India. Named after Late Taradevi Kankaria and her husband Late Harakhchand Kankaria the college was conferred minority status by the Govt. of West Bengal in 2014 and received recognition under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 in the year 2023. 
The college participates in AISHE and NIRF surveys and has been successfully reaccredited by NAAC with B+ Grade (2.63 CGPA). It shares a 7.5-acre campus with with KSS Jain College of Education and KDSD Jain Dental College, under the same parent body, Shree S.S Jain Sabha, and is housed in a serene, eco-friendly space of 1.98 acres in Cossipore.

The college building is a G+4 structure with 9088.45 sq mts of space, featuring 31 classrooms, 5 audio-visual rooms, 7 projector-equipped classrooms, 22 laboratories, a film studio, multipurpose hall, library, e-learning space, administrative block, and separate common rooms for boys and girls. 
The college offers 3-year and 4-year UG programs in Commerce, Arts, Science, and Management, with 15 Honours and MDC programs  and several General/Minor courses. It has a team of qualified, dynamic teachers and experienced superannuated faculty to maintain high-quality education standards. 
Facilities include Cafeteria, watercooler in each floor and cricket-football turf, basketball court, playground, and auditorium, promoting athletic and artistic pursuits.
