  • Department emphasizes on hands on training and field work along with theoritical studies. For the said purpose Department has organised excursion in Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh, Kaziranga National Park, Assam, Chintamani Kar Bird Sanctuary, Alipore Zoological Garden, Indian Museum etc.
  • Department observe various important Days, like Earth Day, World Environment Day, World Wild Life Day, Endangered Species Day, National Science Day etc.
  • Department organises various events for students like poster presentation, student seminars, quiz competitions, exhibition and other activities.
  • Department also provides various invited lecture sessions for students.
  • Students are encouraged to do volunteer works and join NSS unit.
